Information we collect

GetHired.dev does not currently offer user accounts or ask for your phone number or payment details. When you submit an article comment, we collect the display name and comment text you provide, the article being discussed, the submission time, and the moderation status. Our hosting and database providers may also process standard technical information, such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, time of access, and security logs, to deliver and protect the service.

Article comments

Comments are stored and processed using Supabase. New comments are normally published immediately and display the submitted name, comment text, and date. Do not include an email address, phone number, password, API key, private employer information, or other sensitive details in a comment.

We may reject or remove comments that are abusive, promotional, misleading, unlawful, off-topic, or unsafe. You can request removal of a comment through the contact method linked on this site, although we may need enough information to identify the relevant submission.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and use the site. Depending on your consent choices and browser settings, Analytics may collect information such as page views, approximate location, device and browser information, traffic source, session statistics, scroll activity, and a randomly generated client identifier stored in a first-party cookie.

We use this information in aggregate to improve article usefulness, navigation, performance, and mobile readability. We do not send names, email addresses, or other directly identifying details to Google Analytics.

Advertising and cookies

GetHired.dev is configured to use Google AdSense and additional display and native advertising delivered through highperformanceformat.com and effectivecpmnetwork.com. These advertising providers and their partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve, measure, limit, and personalize ads based on visits to this site or other websites. An advertising tag may set or read a cookie even when a visible ad is not shown.

Consent choices

Visitors in regions where consent is required may see a Google-certified consent message. Your choices can affect whether analytics storage, advertising storage, ad personalization, and related data uses are permitted. Published comments may remain available with the article until removal is requested or the discussion is retired.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection relating to personal information. Most information available to us is aggregated or held by the service providers described above, so we may need enough detail to identify the relevant record before responding.

Children

GetHired.dev is a general-audience information site and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
